Art and creative endeavors have always been part of my life. I attended New York City’s High School of Music and Art, and then graduated from Carnegie Mellon University with a minor in Art. I pursued various creative careers, including art consultant representing local artists to the corporate community, graphic artist, corporate and residential space planner and designer. Along the way, I always produced my own art, and in 1998 devoted myself to the practice full-time. My production features several well-developed bodies of work in a variety of mediums. I spend my studio time pushing my creative boundaries, producing and exploring new materials, techniques, processes, and subjects.
My work has been included in many private and corporate collections, and featured at venues throughout the Northeast including: The Center for Contemporary Printmaking in Norwalk, CT; Fairfield Arts Council in Fairfield, CT; Norwalk Community College in Norwalk, CT; Silvermine Arts Center in New Canaan, CT; Westport Arts Center in Westport, CT; Bruce Kershner Gallery in Fairfield, CT; Krasdale Corporate Headquarters in White Plains, NY; and Katonah Museum of Art in Katonah, NY. I am grateful to have contributed to the richly talented and artistically active artist community in Fairfield County. My professional responsibilities and affiliations have included the curatorial committee of the Bruce Kershner Gallery, member of the Cultural Alliance of Fairfield County, Women’s Caucus for the Arts and Westport Arts Center and - most extensively the Center for Contemporary Printmaking in Norwalk, CT, where I served on the Board of Directors from 2005 and then as Chairperson from 2009 to 2011.
I live with my husband in Fairfield, CT, minutes away from my daughters, sons-in-law, and - most importantly - my precious grandchildren whose existence has inspired and informed some of my newest and most personal work.
